Vacation Bible School

Treasure Cove  Chester

VBS is back for 2006! Welcome to Treasure Cove where sand tickles your toes and balmy breezes blow! C’mon, let’s discover the riches of God’s grace in Jesus!

Along the way, you'll meet Chester the Treasure Chest and help him find his lost gems!

See YOU at VBS!

Vacation Bible School will be held July 24-28, 2006 at St. John Nottingham Lutheran.

Send your children for a week of fun and learning. This year, our theme will be about finding the treasures of Christ in the "Treasure Cove". As always there will be learning about Jesus, fun projects, snacks, and play time.

The time is 9:00 - 11:30 AM each day and there is a VBS Family service in the church on Thursday, July 28, 2006 at 7:00 PM.

Call the church office at 216-531-1156 to register your children and their friends. VBS is for children from Kindergarten through Middle School age.

Why not check out Sunday School, too? It's every Sunday from September through May.

In 2006-2007, we'll be trying something new. Sunday School will be held at the same time as the Worship Service in church. Everyone will start out in church to worship as a family. On some Sundays, there will be a short Children's Sermon. After the Children's Sermon or before the reading of the lessons, the children will be led to Sunday School by the teachers. The Worship Service and Sunday School will end at approximately the same time each week.

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14 (NIV)
